greetings!
i'm using a laptop with ubuntu dapper, 2.6.15 kernel (with ingo's

soundcard and my RME Multiface, with realtime access as user, until a
recent install of some dvd-playing apps. now, when i try to bring up
jack *as user* i get:
Sounds like the Ubuntu sound card configurator made an invalid
~/.asoundrc. Try deleting it, and definitely report this bug in malone
