I guess most of the "battlers" will be toting Macs running Ableton Live 6 or
some such thing, connected to a Behringer digital mixer. I agree, there is a huge
potential here for skilled beatmeisters with Penguin stickers on their laptops to
"represent" Open Source. Tools like freewheeling, seq24, and
ChucK/PD/SuperCollider/cSound could make quite an impact.
