The SBlive 5.1 (Not platinum or other but just s
it reads) is available
here in USA for $19.00 as an OEM card. It has the same soundfont ability
and has 2 in and at lease 4 channels out. They are pretty much bullet
proof too! Like ...we have the neuclear holocost...the cockaroaches and
Sblive sound cards will be the only things that survive! :)
I'm gonna go buy 2 more over the 2 I have; Link 'em all together like
the "Elcheapo sound card" how to says and see if I can fly it. of course
then there will be IRQ hell to figure out but hopefully it wont matter
that much.
The 5.1 has 6 channels out, 2 in.
But, rather than buying 2, consider springing for the Platinum. The
LiveDrive gives you at least 2 more analog ins and 2 more outs, plus
SPDIF.
