i can see that non jack aware apps can run in the same time using
either the ALSA API or the OSS emulation layer.
You can try oss2jack: http://fort.xdas.com/~kor/oss2jack/
with many apps I did obtain good results.
With ZynAddSubFX and ReZound it works better than the original JACK
support! Awesome!
