oh, i need the low latency :-(
by the way ... does anyone is able to hear a difference between the
multiface and the multiface2
when i understand it right an can use both with pcmcia and expresscard
right?

I don't think you can get the same low latency with any firewire or
usb solution.
But you may really be not needing it. If you need low latency just for
input monitoring,
many (if not most) soundcards have near-zero latency monitoring capability,
which does not depend on a buffer size.
