According to one guy, you're wrong. (In a very
minimal
sense...) There is a tool called 'Exact Audio
Copy'
that is very interesting. It's a pretty cool
little tool.
cdparanoia has this functionality, hence its name.
Can take longer to rip due to the error checking
process, but is
worth it.
Sweet, thanks for the hint Mark and Jesse. I've
installed and will defer to cdparanoia. I'm certain
that what I see is clipping so I probably can't
demonstrate these types of errors or show screenshots
of them but if anyone can or has, it would be very
useful see examples.
