There's
nothing wrong with having a dedicated machine for a studio.
No, but it's not required in any way. It's better to look at the
problems with the kernel, if any, that makes you take this decision.
Had nothing to do with kernel issues, it had to do with the fact I
didn't want my studio in my den, but in a larger space in my basement.
