I'm using both lilypond and abcm2ps and I don't think it's either/or. I
would say that 95% of the time abcm2ps is the best tool for me since
it's faster (both in "figuring out what to type", amount of chars to
type and in generation time) and looks very good. The remaining 5% is
when only the best output is good enough or special things are needed,
and that's when I fire up lily.
