OK, well we're discussing chkconfig output, so I though you meant
"chkconfig foo off"-ing them. But, just because they appear in chkconfig
doesnt mean they actually do naythign at runtime, eg. kudzu only runs when
you boot.
I'd probably do it with a custom runlevel.
