Hi :) I start my sessions by scripts, I don't use session managers. "a2jmidid -e" could cause issues for aj-snapshot regarding to ... Connecting port 'a2j:Qtractor [136] (capture): Master' with 'yoshimi:midi in' Connecting port 'a2j:Qtractor [136] (capture): Master' with 'yoshimi-01:midi in' ... ^^^, most of the times it's ok, but it doesn't work always. No drama in this case, but it could become unfunny, if there would be more connections, since this number isn't always the same. It would be possible to ask for the ID and then let the script edit the file that will be used by aj-snapshot, before it runs aj-snapshot, but IMO this is another bad extra effort.
