Good question. In my list of goodies I've got gtk2-devel-2.2.4-10
and gtk2-2.2.4-10. I think you need the devel package.

From what you sent I would be willing to bet that you
don't have GTK2
installed on your system. IIRC Freevamp requires it. You
can get it at http://www.gtk.org
