I picked up a delta 1010 on ebay for $300. They did not supply the
correct ps and discounted it enough, to buy a new ps. I have 3 of these
units. The nice thing about them is that you can attach a 1010ai (adat
interface) and use them as standalone converters when you start
upgrading.
YMMV

Subject: [linux-audio-user] Which Card?
Hi,
I've decided to switch from my cmipci-based DiO 2448 to a envy24-based
soundcard. Now I have three choices of used gear:
1) Terratec EWS88MT - 400 euros
2) Terratec EWS24/96 - 130 euros
3) Midiman Delta 66 - 230 euros
some considerations:
* I've no special need for s/pdif
* ardour would be the target app
* 4 simultaneous I/O channels would be nice
* I'm a little on budget
<snip>
Can't speak for the Terratec cards, but I have a Delta 44 and it works
very well. I can use and route all the I/O channels with envy24control.
Works great with Ardour and Audacity.
