Indeed old AWE32's analog audio quality is known to be better than
that of newer Creative cards, including Live!
The Live! isn't that new. The Audigy and Audigy 2 improve the S/N
ration considerably. Something like 98 dB on the Live vs 120 on the
Audigy 2, Audigy 1 is in between.
I don't think any consumer sound card has a *real* S/N ratio of 120,
that would be a killer!
