SL has had the ability to save a session with audio files for a while
now. Once you do that, when you load it up all the audio is loaded as
well, in a paused state. It pretty much meets all the other
requirements too with the exception of #9.

Debian has version 1.0.8c (!) as the latest SooperLooper version.
Guenter Geiger seems to be the Debian maintainer for SooperLooper, but for some reason
has let quite a few versions go by.
I'll grab the latest (1.6.13) and see how it goes.
its still the mother of all loopers.
and its VERY deep.
