Thankyouall, but ... I'm affraid missing what you
mean with 'Q' ?
The ambiguity demon in me has struck again. He enjoys puzzledness. The
meaning is, you created 'QJactCtl', not 'KJackCtl', and hence I may use
it without also installing the KDE libraries and associates.
