We recently fail over restrictions of older GTK versions, but indeed we
wont support them as long it is possible.
Cool.
Just to inform everybody: I only gathered and applied a bunch of
variuos unrelated fixes from around the net, and it worked for me, so
if it breaks with some newer versions of gtk/gcc/whatnot I will just
pass the blame along :)
