May I ask which version and Linux distribution you are using with OBS? OBS
version 14.04/15.04+ for Ubuntu (.deb package) after being installed and
launched, freezes and causes an unresponsive desktop very soon (mouse still
moves, but clicks have no effect, and key presses on the keyboard have no
effect) in Linux Mint 18 (most recent Linux Mint), Mate desktop version
(not Cinnamon, not XFCE).
