The question is: where do I find some good
tutorial or manual covering
the basis of MIDI?
do you by chance speak (or at least understand) spanish? i assembled an
introduction to midi at:

it's an older version; an expanded and corrected version is almost ready,
but i must finish a few details before i upload it.
