To my ears it makes a great difference in MIDI,
so if MIDI's on your
table set that timer to 1000.
Is there any downside to 1000 Hz? I don't use MIDI very often, so if
there is a tradeoff I'm thinking maybe I could compile a separate
low-res kernel for non-MIDI use?
Does the timer resolution affect OSC the same way as MIDI?
