I have a number of compelling reasons not to do so just now.
Once things are established with the system I have disks for, then I will
upgrade.

Debian Squeeze is EOL and only receives security updates from the
community driven squeeze-lts (Long Term Support) repositories. I'd
recommend to go for Debian Jessie unless there are really compelling
reasons not do so.
