I'm running kernel 2422-26mm2 on mdk 9.2
[piotr@pececik piotr]$ su
[root@pececik piotr]# modprobe snd-virmidi snd_index=1
Warning: ignoring snd_index=1, no such parameter in this module
Module snd-virmidi loaded, with warnings
[root@pececik piotr]#
There is no option snd-index or snd_index for ALSA soundcards modules
anymore, it now is called "index". All ALSA modules lost their "snd-"
prefix.
ciao
