The sound system is M-Audio DIO2448 + OSS drivers
were you ever able to get decent performance with this card
at full duplex? I can record reliably at buffer size 16, but
with simultaneous playback (including soft-monitoring) i cannot
record even with buffer size of 4096. My machine is tuned.
