QuickStart:
$ jackd -R -v -d alsa -P hw:0,3 -C hw:0,2 -S
here's what i get here:
[mrmachine@localhost mrmachine]$ jackd -v -d alsa -P hw:0,3 -C hw:0,2 -S
-i 2 -o 4
Lose the "-i 2 -o 4", and it will automatically open 16 capture and 16
playback channels (like the default kX ASIO config). Unfortunately,
opening fewer channels than 16 is not supported yet.
still no go -
[mrmachine@localhost mrmachine]$ jackd -v -d alsa -P hw:0,3 -C hw:0,2 -S

would my .asoundrc file be interfering? i have an sb live platinum, so
maybe the device i need is different?
Also the wavetable problem is known and I am working on
it. My goal is
basically the same as yours. Eventually the emu10k1 driver with ld10k1
will offer all the features the kX driver does.
is development of ld10k1 still happening?
