So that's at least three cases
1. Unwanted ambient noises
2. Tape noise
3. Vynil noise
which require quite different techniques. Vynil noise for
example can (at least partially) be handled as a sequence
of discrete events that have a distinct signature (if the
digital transcription includes supersonic frequencies).
