Well, I think the first step is to figure out if
you're using Alsa. If
you're not then I don't know how Rosegarden would act. I've only used it
under Alsa.
As root do an lsmod and let's see what's loaded.
Post back your /etc/modules/conf file also.
Better still, use the aadebug script here at...
