One more suggestion: I receive a "missing plugin" error from many of the
included patches. It may be helpful to advise the user where s/he can
retrieve those plugins.
Where like "set a sensible LADSPA_PATH"?
that'd be tweak the build files ams.pro, Makefile or
export LADSPA_PATH.
