One more suggestion: I receive a "missing plugin" error from many of the
included patches. It may be helpful to advise the user where s/he can
retrieve those plugins.
Where like "set a sensible LADSPA_PATH"?
that'd be tweak the build files ams.pro, Makefile or
export LADSPA_PATH.
or "URLs to download from"?
I went through this. The Debian package of AMS doesn't depend on the (excellent!)
blvco and g2verb plugins, IIRC. IASTR that was because no such packages exist for those
libraries. Some of the sample patches require them.
I built the required things from source, and installed them manually in
/usr/local/lib/ladspa, then added that to my LADSPA_PATH.
I suppose I should add "create Debian package of blvco and g2verb plugins" to my
to-do list, unless someone else wants to have a go at it.
