As a creative artist I know I have no
hope of making it here, but I used to think I could work tech jobs
and use the programming experience to help my music, but now that
I've been pushed out of the tech industry I don't know what I'm
going to do
I think there will be opportunities in the crossover between the two.
Most of the music industry appears to running on Mac OS 9 - that
can't last forever.

February (when my unemployment runs out) I get to find out how I'm
going to continue as an electronic composer while living out on the
streets of la.
That's commitment. I notice you don't say 'give up making music'.
I hope you find something that suits you.
