By play back do you mean SPDIF passthrough to a receiver? Or do you
want them decoded to 6 channel .wavs?
Hi Lee,
Ha, sorry I wasn't clear.
I want to decode an AC3 file and listen to it. Much like this does for
winamp or windows media:
http://ac3filter.sourceforge.net/
How about ac3dec from alsa-tools?
does that interface with snd (or another editor) for automatic decode?
For that matter does liba52 interface with snd?
Mplayer uses liba52 (
), but I'm looking
for more friendly audio editing (yeah, I'll be editing the resultant PCM
and then need to reencode, but that's ok.)
