Oh dear, I knew that these speakers are total

imagined that that level of crappyness even exists.. It appears that the
built-in amp can't handle the signal on that point in the left channel
for whatever reason, which reminds me of my desperate need for at least
half-way decent hardware.
Sorry for the noise.
I do hear it, too. Judging from the wave form (in Audacity), it seems
that there is a time-varying DC offset, especially in the left channel.
Any idea, what could have caused this?
Anyway, apart from that, it's a very nice recording.

Me too. On Sennheiser headphones from the output of a Edirol UA-25.
Pretty bad distortion, and the signal on the left channel disappears
completely for a couple of seconds.
