I don't really know what's going on, specially considering that
carla-single works fine. ie:
|$ carla-single vst ~/.vst/u-he/Hive.64.so

Well I got the precompiled 64 bits Carla running,
although it will not
recognize Hive.64.so as a file it can load (the file is greyed out).
I added the
path, Carla did not see it, I restarted Carla, still no go,
so I then used the scan function, specified VST3 also just in case, and
Carla found it. Double clicking on Hive yields an extremely steady
result: 'Aborted' and Carla goes away.
