I have tried different cables alright...
I have also moved temporarily a working feed from ins 1&2 to ins 5&6. on
ins 5&6 it does not work :(

Hey hey,
I assume your box is connected with a multi-pin breakout cable? If so
check the pins. One or two can be broken or bent. If a pin is bent, you can
rectify that with tweezers.
