i spent many hours trying MPD's out and all i came
up with that i liked ....
Sonata.(seems easy and quite stable.)
Emphasis (i like very much but very buggy)
alas.... My favorite which i use on my girlfriends MacBook.
Theremin.
let me know if you find somthing else that is comparable. quite honestly i
just use mplayer and ssh, can't be bothered with all the fuss these days.
