I'm figuring this would be a good order to use:
1. "Stop"/"Quit" JACK.
2. Power off the mixer.
3. Unplug/power off the breakout box.
I don't know if the power-on order matters as much, perhaps the reverse:
1. Plug in/power on the breakout box.
2. Power on the mixer.
3. Load/"Start" JACK.
It seems like if your mixer is off whenever you power on/off your
breakout box that all would be OK.
