I've got an ASUS P4P800SE mobo with a 3.0GHz Prescott P4. It runs
great under RedHat 9 using the 2.4.26-1.ll.rh90.ccrma from Planet
CCRMA. Unfortunately, there are issues with it under FC2, which
keep the machine from even booting using the FC2 boot disks.
I tried the Planet CCRMA 2.4.26-smp kernel with the
hyperthreading
turned on in my BIOS, but was getting too many xruns when I ran Ardour,
so I went back to the single processor kernel and all's well.
Just to confirm: This is on RH9?
