I meant to send this to the list. Sometimes I hit reply and it goes
to the list, sometimes both, sometimes the sender...I don't really see
any pattern in it yet.

I sent this to the author of the program but got

someone here has an idea of what to do to make this thing work.

From what I know, Ron isn't the author of
session exchange, he just
uses / tests it. Taybin Rutkin is the author.
Oh, I see. I thought he did.
Anyway, I found the problem. I had to upgrade DB. It could be that
gentoo applied some patches to it as well. DB is the one that didn't
have any AMD64 code for fast mutexes. It works now, or at least seems
to so far. The GUI could /definately/ use some work and it would be
nice to be able to send session information as well as download it.
To many things in the way that can cause problems to make a really
good test. My modem may or may not be port -forwarding, the GUI says
'lost connection' whether it finished or blew up. It is confusing us.
But this is a 0.1 release so it isn't expected to be exactly easy to
use or do everything we want. It is a great idea though.
