established user base that spans
windows+osx. also noteworthy is that as a company NI get tons of flack for
their poor customer support, the only reason they've managed to do so well
is to have a few flagship products that have been really popular.

If you are a programmer, make appealing software.
If you are a musician, make appealing music.
