did you use jack-0.118.0 ?
0.109.something (whatever is provided by Ubuntu Jaunty). I just
upgraded some machines to Karmic which provides 0.116.1 but I am, of
course, willing to install/compile anything more recent if it is going
to help my cause.
use nice 128kbit celt streams.
