That's it! Although i can't recall enabling the solo button. On the
other hand there is more i can't recall :)

One obstacle i

Strange. Obvious question: are you sure you don't have Solo enabled?
It's the big S button on the flip-down flap of the transport window.
Solo state is saved with each .rg file, so if it was set in one
session, it might not be obvious that it was still set when that
session was reloaded.
