AFAIK RME uses an app for the iPad to control all the TotalMix stuff,
including the onboard DSP eccects. That's interesting because the UCX
only works on the iPad when in CC mode. Could the control be reverse
engineered?
Correct me if I'm wrong.

I can open TotalMix under OS X, store the setting, and
reboot
under Linux. This is "ok", but then again, I have no control over
the Mic gain, so help is appreciated. The device is not seen when
connected via Firewire, when using USB it is visible but hdspconf
doesn't deal with it, and also alsamixer doesn't offer any capture
settings or the like.

hi there,
what is the best/easiest way (Debian Jessie) to
switch on the
phantom power of an RME Fireface UCX. I can use the thing
out-of-the-box, however only the analog I/O works. This is fine,
but now I need to toggle the phantom power. Is there a utility I
can run that allows me to control that?
Thanks, .h.h.
