1) record some MIDI from a keyboard using arecordmidi
2) verify that you now have a type 1 MIDI file (I use the "file" command)
3) open up seq24
4) try to get that file in there. It won't, at least on my machine.
Dou you have an example of such a file?
What does seq24 say?
