Anybody has ever tried Gentoo for multitrack recording
and editing?

One year of heavy use of audio on Linux drives me, after having tested all
the audio dedicated distros, to the Gentoo distro with my own low-latency
custom kernel and fluxbox. Perhaps DeMuDi, AudioSlack or Planet CCRMA with
FC3 where not tunned enough to work with my USB sound card so PCI card
should be better supported.
