Rubbish. With a decent kernel there's absolutely no reason not to use
these.
It's not entirely rubbish. If you run older low-spec machines, using lighter
weight WMs does make a difference. It is not true or fair to say that GNOME
and KDE are 'really bad', however. If you have a fairly modern box, it
doesn't make much difference what your favourite Desktop Environment is.

Once again, true. But I must also agree with Loki, Marcos is argentinian
as I am, so there's surelly a matter of language skills.
