I'm not a Windows user. I'm not part of Microsoft's target group.
Have you ever bought a printer from the supermarket, that didn't work
with Linux? I know the answer, you didn't, but the target group for
Microsoft would do so, because they have a completely different
knowledge about computers and completely different needs regarding to
computers than you and I have got.
