I'm inclined to start with a Behringer UMC204HD. Four audio outs and MIDI IO.
I'm using Komplete Audio KA6 - 4x analog I/O + 2 digital + phones amp + MIDI
Front 2 inputs are Mic/Instrument with phantom power on Mic.
