Any interface can be used for creation, because there's many way to
express ideas. So basically we should develop our skills with tools
that are not too dependant on the interfaces.
Personally, I wish everything in the world supported osc so developers could
either concentrate on the engine work (the actual audio stuff) or the
interface - _but not at the same time_
Then users can throw away the interface if they can't use it, or script a
quick hacky batch processing job for something, or write a totally new
interface they prefer.
