Sure, but sometimes you just have to work with a take like that.
While it might be so bad that the correct pitch is 'beyond deductible',
it's not 'beyond repair' as long Jretune (or another piece of software)
can help. Even if the tuner needs to be nudged (via midi) towards the
correct note.
