Which means that if you reload a snapshot and want to keep it
unmodified you need to do a 'Save as' as the first thing.
It's very easy to forget that.
probably something like a flag to make it readonly would be useful.
Maybe files created as snapshots should be marked in
some way,
so that loading them doesn't change the current name.
they are called <foo>.snapshot already.
