preamps/8 knobs on the front is pretty nice.

Please let us know how it works out. I've been thinking of trading in
my Echo Layla unit for a firepod because I'd like to have the pres all
in one package. So far I've heard only good things about the Firepod,
both in terms of Linux compatibility and general quality.
