The Monitor Mixer outputs should be available as inputs 11 &
12.
I'm
curious about this, too. For recording from my
ICE1712 based DSP3000/DSP24 I use this format:
s32_le,12,44100,i (12 channels of 32 bits, interlaced)
In my case that would be 8 channels of XLR
inputs, 2 channels of SPDIF; the final 2 channels
I believe to be the mixer out. But I've never
succeeded in recording these last two channels.
Yup, sounds you also mean the monitor mixer, that's exactly what I want
to record too. I cannot believe it's not possible to access that device
with ALSA. No problem on a Mac or on Linux with OSS... *shrug*
