Any SC experts out there ?
I'm trying to install SuperCollider (from the AUR package) and get
the following rather uniformative error:
fons@c252:~> sclang
init_OSC
compiling class library..
NumPrimitives = 532
pass 1 done
ERROR: There is a discrepancy.
numClassDeps 0 gNumClasses 80
That's without any ~/.sclang.cfg or ~/.sclang.sc.
Strange thing is I did exactly the same yesterday evening on another
system, using the same package, and everything works fine there.
Any help appreciated !
I'm no expert by any means, but I do recall trying SC some years ago and finding out
it didn't support 64-bit systems.
Is the system it works on a 32-bit and the one it doesn't work on a 64-bit, by any
chance?
For the record, SC works fine here on my 64-bit Debian Testing platform,
compiled from source. Unfortunately, I never got the error Fons
described, so can't help further. I remember building SC was a bit of a
hit and miss experience, though.
Cheers,
S.M.
